RULES & REGULATIONS
In Missouri there are no laws, rules or regulations placed around microblading. As of August 2022 - the same rules apply for the Powder Brow (or Microshading technique). In addition, training facilities and instructors are also not regulated within the state. Please take time to research your Microblading Instructor. See pictures of their work, including HEALED microblading to show skill in their technique and quality of their work. Also ask to see student photos, to see their ability to teach the craft and guide students through their first microblading model. These steps will help you find a training that will teach you everything you need to know about microblading, and not settling for a class that leaves you with more questions than answers. These regulations are the same for Saline Tattoo Removal.
PREREQUISITES
The only prerequisite for our Microblading Training Course, Powder Brow Training , Lip Blushing Training, and Saline Tattoo Removal Training is a Blood Borne Pathogens Certifications which can be done online HERE.
UPCOMING CLASSES
I will be holding one-on-one classes for each certification that I offer. My upcoming classes will be scheduled independently with each student based on both of our availability.
OBJECTIVES FOR ALL CLASSES
Students will be knowledgeable of different application techniques and when each should be used based on a particular client.
Students will be able to identify skin type, undertones, lifestyle and environmental issues that will be the basis of color theory.
Students will fully understand color theory and choosing correct pigments and modifiers.
Students will know how to properly sanitize/sterilize before and after procedures, and avoiding cross contamination during procedures.
Students will learn to have genuine concern for the client’s outcome, color, shape, symmetry, and overall aesthetic appearance of permanent makeup on the client.
Students will know how to professionally handle themselves in this industry practicing good business ethics.
Students will know how to evaluate and perform touch up services for each client.
Students will know how to correct their own work, if need be, and how to approach Microblading corrections when performed by another artist (and what to do when previous work cannot be corrected).
Students will receive all insurance and client consultation/ consent forms used for Microblading Procedure, and know which clients and skin types can be a contraindication to Microblading.
Students will know aftercare for clients to follow and receive written instructions to give to clients.
